PHYSICAL WELLBEING | MINDSET COACHING | HOLISTIC HEALTH

My workshop experiences deliver fitness coaching with a foundation in holistic health. The main purpose of the workshops is to help participants integrate the many facets of their lives with their physical wellbeing. The workshop begins with a short introduction to provide context and education, then we conduct the workout, and finish with a team-building discussion to further illuminate the learnings of the experience. Participants most commonly leave feeling inspired, connected, and balanced.

Description

This live virtual session aims to relieve overall stiffness and tension, cleanse joint congestion, improve biomechanical range of motion, and strengthen motor control. Participants will leave feeling rejuvenated, relief of restriction, and an overall sense of openness. Julian will draw upon his certifications in mobility science from schools such as Functional Range Conditioning Systems, and the Yoga Detour School.

Description

This session begins with a crash course on stress, unpacking and reframing the purpose of stress in our lives. Then we dive into healing movements that help balance and relieve stress. The session will tap into modalities such as breathwork, mobility, qigong, and self-massage. Leave the session feeling aligned, centered, and grounded. Julian will draw upon his expertise as a certified CHEK Practitioner from the CHEK (Corrective, Holistic, Exercise, Kinesiology) Institute.

Description

Runcon is athletic conditioning for people who wish to improve the health and performance of their running. The interval based workout delivers technical drills, strength exercises, and movements that help to optimize propulsion, impact force mitigation/usage, and running posture. It is through Julian’s diverse training experiences in 10k, Marathon, and Ultra-marathon, that runners of many backgrounds and goals can benefit. Whether it’s for speed, safety, or enjoyment, Runcon is accessible to everyone who wishes to improve upon one of the physical gifts that makes us wildly human, running.

Description

Metabolic Conditioning and High Intensity Interval Training are synonymous with each other, yet can be delivered and experienced in a multitude of ways. Oftentimes, metcon and HIIT are delivered and practiced mind-lessly, and encouraged as so, “don’t think, just do it!” The missing links to its programming is progression, quality control, prioritization, and pacing. In this session, participants progress into high intensity, and are encouraged to expand capacity while honouring movement integrity. Options and modifications are provided to create a safe and confident dynamic.

Description

Innerwork Core is a workout that does not deliver 6-pack abs, instead, it reveals why aiming for this could be a mispriority. The core is much more than the fitness industry has led the public to believe, it counts for health function, and is a source of much grander results than a visual aesthetic. The session will bring together content from various schools of thought, help develop a richer self-practice, and bring more appreciation to the complexity of our core system. Leave with a full body sweat, new approaches, and broader perspectives.

Description

Motion Lab is all about movement and exercise integrity over intensity. The main purpose is to improve posture and spinal health. This area of preventative health is one that many don’t focus on because of the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality, but we know where that leads … to a place where it’s too late - an injury. The combination of kinesiotherapy, mind-body connection, and stability training, empowers attendees to become more preventative not only with their physical wellbeing, but also their mindset at work. The material used will be based on research conducted at California’s Institute of Motion and Health Coaching.
