MINDFUL METCON (STRENGTH & STAMINA) WORKSHOP
Description
Metabolic Conditioning and High Intensity Interval Training are synonymous with each other, yet can be delivered and experienced in a multitude of ways. Oftentimes, metcon and HIIT are delivered and practiced mind-lessly, and encouraged as so, “don’t think, just do it!” The missing links to its programming is progression, quality control, prioritization, and pacing. In this session, participants progress into high intensity, and are encouraged to expand capacity while honouring movement integrity. Options and modifications are provided to create a safe and confident dynamic.
