RUN COACHING

DESCRIPTION: A Running Race is a big commitment. It takes a lot more than just the physical training to gain the confidence to step on the start line, let alone cross the finish line. Not only as a recently certified Ultra Running coach, but as a 6 time race champion (3 x Sulphur Springs and 3x Muskoka), Julian has the education and the accolades to help anyone accomplish their first long distance race, from 10k to Ultramarathon. PROGRAM: Each runner comes with a unique health history, psychological profile, resources and budget, race goals, and fitness status. This works in Julian’s favor as a 18 years veteran in the Personal Training field. His highly customized approach empowers each client to feel fully seen and understood, paving the path to a highly personalized experience. Below is a stage by stage breakdown of what to expect:

  • Consultation A - Logistics: resource analysis, race registration, health history

  • Consultation B - Readiness: Mindset Mapping, Physical Screening, Assessments

  • Training Block A: Base Training, Injury Prevention & Recovery, Aerobic Fitness

  • Training Block B: VO2 max Training, Strength Training, Lactate Threshold Training

  • Training Block C: Endurance, Tapering, Race Week

Engagement Protocol:

Step 2 - Julian will reply within 48 hours with a response for a consultation on logistics, needs, wants
Step 3 - Julian to send Invoice
Step 4 - Purchase Coaching Package via etransfer
Step 5 - Conduct Sessions
