OUTDOOR CLASSES
Julian’s Outdoor Fitness Classes are catered to all levels of movement ability, and blend a variety of kinesiology modalities. In class, we work hard and smart, blending fitness with function, intensity with integrity, high performance and injury prevention, and metabolic with mindfulness. There will be elements of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Hill running/walking, circuit training, and partnered drills. The tone is athletic, educational, and uplifting.

CLINIC DESCRIPTION:
I created my signature Run Clinics to bring my knowledge of form and technique coaching to the social dynamic of run clubs. I saw a gap between run clubs and functional training. There are runners who seek socializing but also want to learn how to run better. My clinics are a hybrid and is an IRL extension of my online course RUNCON Essentials, which delivers functional run strength and conditioning training for people who want to improve on their running form, fitness, technique, and injury prevention.
I have no qualms with the everyday Run Club as they are great at delivering:
A sense of community, accountability, and socialization
BUT, their priorities are different from my Run Clinics, which focuses on delivering:
Certified Run Coaching, small group training, and deeper conversations
Education comes from my UESCA Ultramarathon Coaching Certification, Pose Method, Research from the Spinal Engine Theory, FRC Mobility, my Kinesiology Degree from Western, and 15+ years of endurance training (Ironman, Marathon, Ultramarathon).
DETAILS:
Locations - Queen’s Park, Regent Park Athletic Grounds Track, and Riverdale Park
Frequency - Seasonal, Pop-Up Style, Typically Thursday nights and Saturdays
This all levels class (intermediate leaning) is all about hard and smart work, teamwork vibes, and character building challenges. Be ready for anything.
Injuries and restrictions to be self-managed. But surely, Julian will offer modifications.
Training Equipment will be provided, bring your own water, towel, etc.
Cost - $22.60 ($20 + HST)
TYPICAL CLASS:
5 mins - Gather and brief on theme of the day and focus of the workout
10 mins - Mobility Circle
5 mins - Warm Up Jog
35 mins - Workout
5 mins - Cool-Down Circle
RULES:
24 Hour Cancellation Policy: If Julian isn’t notified of cancellations within 24 hours, no reimbursement
Registrations are non-transferrable to another person (unless waiver and liability agreements are signed ahead of time)

RTC ATTENDEES:
The people that attend RTC are most often: conscious thinkers, entrepreneurial, go-getters, extroverted introverts, holistic maximizers, down-to-earth good people, and pretty bad-ass in their line of work. They range from 10kers to marathoners, to yogis, to multi-sport athletes, to the everyday HIIT gym-goer that wants to improve on running.
