1. REUNITING WITH MY FAMILY - it’ll be the first time in 12 years since my twin brother Nathan has lived at home in Toronto. He will be moving from Hong Kong to Toronto with his wife Patty, and immersing himself with a slightly slower pace. I’m curious to see how he adapts. It will be a powerfully emotional time for the Ho family to commune together, beautifully entangle, and co-author this new chapter of our lives. #familyfirst

2. TORONTO SUMMER SCENE - nightwalks on the boardwalk with the lingering scent of beach bonfire, post long-run lazy park hangs into intimate condo lounging, and delicious multicultural eats from kensington to distillery to k-town to greektown. I’m ready! #summervibesonpoint

3. SHOWING UP IRL & SUPPORTING MY TRIBE - sharing new knowledge with a new tone, seeing old friends with new eyes, supporting their shifts, drifts, and gifts, learning from them and their 7-month happenings and developments, and getting up on that saddle of teaching once again. #timetolevelup

”It’s okay to not know”, I told myself, upon truly surrendering for the first time.

This came to me while ‘ugly crying’ during a Breathwave session. Backstory: I had experienced two back to back extremely dangerous accidents (rip current rescue and bike wipe out) because I was future-minding, not focusing on the present, so the following day, I showed up to a Breathwork class, completely vulnerable, face mangled, spirit crushed, ego gone, and ready for anything and everything. The session brought everything up and out. A true breakdown to breakthrough.
Thanks to my friend Ben-Luke for leading the class, and the support I received from my fam at La Ruka Hostel and friends from afar.

”We’ve been waiting”, the medicine spoke, upon untethering for the first time.

This is a hand drawing by my friend Claudia @longocloud that brings me back to an ethereal space … a place I knew of but didn’t let myself go to, until I let go of myself. I’ve experienced a handful of plant and animal medicines throughout my trip. I did not seek them, they sought me, in the most serendipitous / predestined ways. To experience new visions changes one’s perspectives on life and reality. It challenges the constructs that our modern minds survive on, but gifts us an awakening trust in the forces that transcend time and space such as love, belief, and hope. I await the day until I reunite with my astral ancestry once again.

“I’ve missed you”, she whispered, upon meeting me for the first time.

As my first Cacao ceremony comes to an end, we all circle around a bonfire. Lost in my thoughts and feels, I zone out to zone in. With a snap in time, I realize that I am the last in the circle, and so she approaches. With her bright blue eyes blazing in contrast to the fire, I welcome her with a warm smile. I am delighted by a new sensation, one that is not sexual, but spiritually sensual. She whispers this phrase with a conviction that is not just from her, from something deeper. In that moment, she shifts my perception of human connection. I am transcended to a new realm of kinship.

THE VIEWS - not only vistas of nature but also the synchronicities of how I arrived at these vistas. My viewpoint on coincidences has forever changed. The timing of events is like a moving target, but when things align with such harmony and fate, you can’t help but not believe in something grander that these simple views inspire within you.

THE ADVENTURES - my daredevil nature has reawoken, and my inner animal has rewilded. Central America doesn’t joke around when it comes to excursions and excitement. Many times I’ve come in with the glass half empty mindset and expectation, and have been blown out of the water with what I received. Risk tolerance is much higher, risk taking to us is normal to them. Be careful what you wish for, and be very precise about it! I asked for adventure and that’s what I got, and then some … scars, injuries, ego bruising, and forever beautifully haunting memories! lol.

THE COMMUNITY - I’ve been able to successfully produce two 2.0 Mindshare events (my version of Ted Talks), for Puerto Viejo town. Our collaborative success came from like-minds, open-hearts, and like-vision. These heart-centric, human-centered design experiences are a reflection of my connection to people and place. Without the synergy and inspiration from the land and the indigenous, I wouldn’t have pushed so eagerly. As weird as it may sound, once committed, my drive to deliver these experiences took on a gear of its own! With that learning, it is the higher calling type work that truly makes the world go around. So if you have the internal desire to do something for the greater good, my tip is to find something that brings benefit and fulfillment to more than just yourself. This kind of work will bring you purpose and meaning, and will most definitely reinvigorate your incredible life force within.

MOBILITY 2.0! I know you may not have access to a stick but when I return, I’ll be teaching outdoor classes with them! (Dowels are probably around $5 at your local hardware store). For those keen participants, purchase a stick, try the video, and get ahead of the game. You will discover blind-spots, corners, and cobwebs that you never knew you had! My aim this summer is to help people take their Mobility to the next level by sharing all the modalities I know and putting them together into a cohesive class series. POWER COUPLE SERIES! I’ve created this new series of videos in my content library as a way to explore the hidden superpowers found in trusting and loving relationships. To unlock that power, it starts with communication; verbal and non-verbal. My partner and I have co-created this 5 video intro series that aims to bring more intimacy between two people, they include Stretch, Mobility, Massage, Core, and Energy Balance. One does not need to be in a romantic relationship to participate in these videos; a dear friend, and/or a family member can be the perfect partner. When your intentions are clear and consent is reciprocal, you are on your way to redefining ‘relationship’, and discovering the healing powers found in the spirit of intimacy.

HIPPY LOVE! Here are 15 magical exercises done fairly quickly in this video. I showcase only 3-5 reps but I highly recommend you pause and play longer with the exercises by performing 10-12 reps so that you can deepen the potency. By applying conscious breathwork reps and sets (box breath, breath of thirds, breathholds, and/or decompression breaths), you’ll be able to prolong the benefits window. It’s so important to self-care and spend time learning about the vessel that empowers us to explore life. I can’t emphasize enough how important the saying “health is wealth” is. It’s our primary way forward with lifestyle architecture. Take care of the ‘I’, then the ‘we’, then the ‘all’.
